Filmmakers welcome to Spout.com
 |
We're your bridge to a community of hundreds of thousands of film lovers of all shapes and sizes (the fans and the movies).
One of our core goals is to connect people with the movies they're going to love through ratings, reviews and recommendations. As the most passionate advocate of your film or films you're in a great position to bring it to the audience.
|
Here's how to get started on doing just that:
- Create a Spout profile
If you're not already part of the Spout community, do so now. The process is simple and only takes a few minutes to complete.
- Find your film
Is your movie already listed on Spout? Use the search box at the top of the page to see if it's already here.
- Add it today
If your movie, your baby, your passion is not on Spout, and you'd like it to be, just fill out the form below and we'll make sure it not only gets added to Spout's movie listings, but (if it doesn't already have one) it gets an AMG number, something that's going to make it easier to add to other databases as well.
Submit your film
Once you've made sure your movie is well represented here, you can take advantage of the following opportunities to promote your movie that exist here on Spout:
- Connect with members
Find people who have similar interests by browsing our Groups and Discussion threads. Once you connect with people your activity will be visible to them and theirs to you, so it's like a neighborhood front porch where the conversation is all about movies.
- Screener distribution
Nothing will sell your movie better than the movie itself. So if you have a handful of DVDs, you can submit them to us and we'll send them to Spout community members to view, review and hopefully recommend. Their reviews will show up on the movie's Details page for everyone to see. Then you can get involved in the discussion that results from that review.
- Create lists, rate movies and otherwise get involved
Nothing draws people's attention like activity. So create lists of movies you've seen, movies like the one you've made or any other topic you like. Rate the movies you've seen and recommend the ones you liked to others.
Spout is at its best when there's lots going on and your voice makes the whole community that much richer. We're committed to independent films and to supporting the filmmakers behind them and want to not only help you find the audience, but help the audience find you.
